JWD incorporates InterCounty Scaffolding Ltd bringing together two highly experienced scaffolding entrepreneurs with an established infrastructure, and combining it with the operational expertise and commitment at JWD. The new venuture heralds the creation of start to finish solutions for contractors.
Directors Scott Gallacher and John Horrocks were said to be delighted with the latest venture.
The new company will be based from a purpose built unit adjacent to JWD’s main manufacturing site in Hyde. A key aim for the new business is to build on the already impeccable health and safety reputation and be recognised as the North West’s preferred scaffolding company.
MD Jerry Willock was delighted to be able to support John and Scott and create the new business opportunity.
InterCounty can pitch for significant projects on a national scale but conversely, offers a very local and dedicated service 24hours a day, seven days a week. Scott and John, renowned for their ability to create customised solutions, have designed bespoke systems ranging from suspended scaffolding, top level monitored systems for secure premises, through to typical systems with difficult pedestrian access in high footfall areas.
